ABOUT THE ARTIST
It has taken me more than 25 years of my adult life to
find my lawful position in this world, where I can work
from a place within myself that brings me joy.
I make things; I always have. I express myself best through
the use of materials, not words. I feel most vibrant and
alive when my mind, feelings, and hands are connected, and
I feel blessed when I am open to a higher intelligence.
It has been quoted many times, but it is still true of
my striving:
Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft
life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch, and go on
glowing
For long years.
And for this reason, some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.
